Writing style: idgaf. action or prose is just fine!
Medium preference: don't care! LAPB or APB is fine.
Smut?: no sir
Smut preferences: kissing and some heavier themes are okay, but I'd prefer to stay away from actual NC-17 scenes in memes and the like! Kaworu's definitely a sexual person and so sex itself is fine, I'd just be most comfortable hand-waving the actual smut.

Kaworu doesn't fully understand his own sexuality (he doesn't even know what a pervert is because he was raised in an ambiguous science tube), but he is attracted to other boys and he understands that much; however, this isn't an exclusive trend. probably if he found any girl engaging enough, he'd want to engage her sexually regardless of physical attraction.
okay, that was more about sexuality, so regarding actual romance: Kaworu probably will only ever truly be in love with Shinji. Kaworu doesn't yet fully understand his feelings for Shinji in their entirety, but he has a clue! he recognizes he wants to be worthy of Shinji's love, and he wants Shinji to feel the same way he feels. but even if things worked out like that with whoever, I don't think he'd understand monogamy, probably... so he might accidentally lead your character on without realizing that's a problem, if you can somehow bate his interest. but Kaworu can come to tolerate people in curiosity, and probably he'd have no qualms dating someone. he just wouldn't be a very good boyfriend. liiike at all. I'm open to exploring the potential trainwrecks, I guess.
